KET (Key English Test) ဟာ အဂၤလိပ္စာကုိ လြယ္ကူရုိးရွင္းတဲ႔အေနအထားမွာ ဘယ္ေရြ႔ဘယ္မွ်ထိ သုံးစဲြအသုံးျပဳႏုိင္စြမ္း ရွိတယ္ဆုိတာကုိ စမ္းသပ္စစ္ေဆးေပးတဲ႔ စာေမးပဲြ တစ္ခု ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ သည္စာေမးပဲြဟာ အဆင္႔ျမင္႔ အဂၤလိပ္စာ ကၽြမ္းက်င္မႈ အရည္အခ်င္းစစ္ စာေမးပဲြမ်ား မေျဖဆုိခင္ စတင္ေျဖဆုိရတဲ႔ ကနဦး စာေမးပဲြ တစ္ခုလည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ အဓိကရည္ရြယ္ခ်က္ကေတာ႔ စာေျဖသူမ်ားအေနနဲ႔ အေျခခံ အဂၤလိပ္စာ ကၽြမ္းက်င္ပုိင္ႏုိင္မႈစြမ္းရည္ ရရွိေစႏုိင္ေရးပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
စာေမးပဲြမွာ အပုိင္း (၃) ပုိင္း ပါရွိပါတယ္။ အဲဒါေတြကေတာ႔
(၁) Reading & Writing (အတူတူ တဲြေျဖရ) – ေမးခြန္းစုစုေပါင္း ၅၆ ခု – (၇၀) မိနစ္
(၂) Listening – (၂၅) မိနစ္
(၃) Speaking – (၈ မိနစ္မွ ၁၀ မိနစ္ခန္႔)
တုိ႔ပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

KET (Key English Test) is a basic level qualification which demonstrates the ability to communicate using English in simple situations. The test is designed to be the first step for students wishing to progress towards higher level English language qualifications, and aims to support learners to master the basics in English.
The test has three sections:
- Reading & Writing – 70 minutes, 56 questions
- Listening – 25 minutes
- Speaking – 8-10 minutes
Score
The Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking sections each accounting for 25% of the marks.
